Sixteen fire hydrants were stolen in a Southern California town on September 11th, begging the question as to whether this theft better considered a statement to society. What ever the intent was, the result is going to cost more that $40,000.

$3.6 Million of Weed Found Floating In Water

Oh, the gateway drug. It seems you can’t turn a southern California street or take a swim without being offered it.

The pot was packed into 160 bales atop a crate near Dana Point, and is estimated to be worth at least $3.6 million, according to CBS Los Angeles.

A boater first spotted the suspicious bales floating about 15 miles from shore around noon on Sunday, according to the Orange County Register. Continue reading

Since the 1800’s people have been trying to split California into two, usually right across the middle where no one important lives. But lately there is a movement to split by  political bias, the 13 Southern counties being seen as relatively “conservative” in reference to the North. Jeff Stone, who lives in Temecula (aka the bum-f*ck boonies of Southern, CA, halfway between LA and Palm Springs), claims California as a whole to be an ‘economic disaster’, despite it being the 6th largest economy in the world.
